Turkey - Scouting & Feedback
Hello, I'm a Galatasaray fan living in Turkey and would like to give feedback on Galatasaray. I'm also an ex-member of Data Update team for Turkey.
Galatasaray
- GK Jankat starting as the backup GK but it should be Okan Kocuk, Jankat is an U19 player.
- Berkan Kutlu has a passing issue IRL, he's one of the worst in the team he's also tend to foul too much. He's a brave player who doesn't give up without a fight but he doesn't have a good technique or creativity. I believe he should be rebalanced.
- He wasn't there at his time at ManU but Mata has great influence right now, I think it should be increased.
- Youngster Baran Aksaka is a DMC, not AMC, his Passing and Anticipation is underrated. He and Metehan Baltacı also have the biggest potential among all young players in Galatasaray.
- Emin Bayram is quite slow IRL and his current stats are like he's one of the best defenders in Turkey. Slightly overrated but he has the potential.
- Haris Seferovic is on loan from Benfica, not a contracted player.
- Yunus Akgün slightly overrated, also he's a rotation player very committed to Galatasaray. He started his football life at Galatasaray and Galatasaray is his dream club. He becomes instantly unhappy for his contract at the game start and not accepting contract offer without min release fee which wouldn't happen IRL.
- Lucas Torreira's off the ball is slightly underrated.
- Abdülkerim Bardakci is a DLC, he is also able to play left back but not his best. He's also slightly underrated and I believe his passing should be around 14 as he can act like a playmaker from defense.
- Luyindama is overrated in terms of Anticipation, Marking, Pace, Positioning and Work Rate. He had a huge injury couple of years ago and he's declining since, Galatasaray tried to sell him but couldn't because no one wanted him.
- Taylan Antalyalı is an MC, he is also able to play DMC but his main role is MC.
- Missing u19 player: Baran Demiroglu, SC. He's a lenghty striker with good heading ability also have somewhat good technique and not bad at controlling the ball, passing and long shots for a youngster. Galatasaray expect him to become a starter in the future, his style is similar to Haaland with way less talent of course. Date of Birth - 2 May 2005 (17).
- Ilkay Gundogan and Hakan Calhanoglu are players who publicly stated they want to play in Galatasaray at some point late in their career, Galatasaray is among their favorite clubs so it doesn't make sense when Gundogan rejects Galatasaray instantly, he should be snubbing because of monetary terms.
- Important first team players of Galatasaray: Mertens, Torreira, Nelsson, Muslera. Everyone else is a rotation player.
Updates about other teams:
- Erencan Yardimci is on loan from Eyüpspor (Alanyaspor)
- Efecan Karaca slightly underrated. His Decisions, Creativity, Crossing, Anticipation and Technique is better than portrayed. (Alanyaspor)
- Ersin Destanoglu is slightly overrated on Positioning, Bravery and Anticipation. (Beşiktaş)
- Mert Günok is underrated overall. (Beşiktaş)
- Valentin Rosier slightly underrated while Arthur Masuaku slightly overrated, both overall. (Beşiktaş)
- Arda Güler is the biggest potential Turkey has seen in years. (Fenerbahçe)
- Joao Pedro is an FC, not an SC. (Fenerbahçe)
- Miguel Crespo slightly underrated overall. (Fenerbahçe)
- Lincoln is AMLC, not DMLC and his technique + set pieces are slightly underrated. He's a playmaker. (Fenerbahçe)
- Serdar Aziz tend to make simple mistakes, slightly overrated. (Fenerbahçe)
- Ferdi Kadioglu can also play at the center. (Fenerbahçe)
- Kayserispor is unable to make transfers and they are on the verge of bankruptcy, their finances should be in the worst condition.
Misc
- Naci Unuvar (Trabzonspor) and Yusuf Demir (Galatasaray) are foreigners in Turkey despite they are Turkish (because of new national team rules, both selected national teams of other nationality) but I guess nothing can be done to this in CM 01/02 since they are actually Turkish.

Final edit: Same happens with Emin Bayram (similar to Yunus Akgün) he's unhappy after one season of loan which wouldn't happen in reality because he's commited to Galatasaray as his dream club.
