[PATCH] Nick's CM0102Patcher

Post by Mark »

Title
Nick's CM0102Patcher , Latest Version: v2.20

Category
Patch

Created By
Nick+Co

Description
This is a amazingly unique patch in the sense that you do not need to match the Nick+Co CM0102Patcher to a specified database. Instead, you simply run the patcher and choose from a number of options in the menu in terms of what you'd like to modify within your own version of Championship Manager 2001/2002. In addition to a huge array of options to choose from in the patcher on its landing page, Nick+Co has also introduced a number of tools that can be used within the patcher AND has also introduced a large variety of miscellaneous patches that can also be enabled!

A full list of changes in each version of the Nick+Co CM0102Patcher can be found within Nick+Co's thread in the Patches forum.

Download link is at the end of this post.

[PATCH] Nick+Co CM0102Patcher

Installation Instructions (Windows 10)

Installing a patch

Attention! Before you begin, ensure that you have installed the game and the SI Games - Official Patch v3.9.68!
Attention! Nick's CM0102Patcher also patches/changes the database in Data folder inside your CM folder during patching your exe as some patches need database patching. You also need to keep the database which you want to patch in your Data folder.
Attention! It is suggested to backup your exe, your saved game and your Data folder before patching. You can rename your exe and you can copy your Data folder and save games to another location.

Step by Step Instructions
1) Download the patch by clicking its filename in the opening post beneath 'Download Link'.
2) Once downloaded, click on the zip file and it will open in File Explorer.
3) Extract the contents to a preferred location on your device.
4) Right click 'CM0102Patcher.exe' and set as 'Run as Admin'.
5) Double click the 'CM0102Patcher.exe' file to start the tool.
6) If prompted with a 'Windows protected your PC' alert, click 'More info' and 'Run anyway'.
7) A 'Default Options?' window will appear. If you have not used the Nick+Co CM0102Patcher before, you will be notified that you are patching an executable that has not been patched before. Nick+Co has provided you with a suggestion of some options to apply by default. Click 'Yes' or 'No' depending on your preference. You can also use 'Browse' to select the cm exe file which you want to patch .
8) The Nick+Co CM0102Patcher will now appear on your screen. Tick or untick the relevant options that you'd like to enable in your game, then click 'Apply'.
9) Additionally , you can check and use 'Tools' and 'Misc Patches' which are integrated into The Nick's CM0102Patcher .
10) You may be warned that you have not previously created a restore point. It is advised you do create one in case of any issues, as you will then be able to use the 'Restore' option in the patcher to use a saved restore point prior to any changes that you made. Click 'Yes'.
11) Once the restore point has been saved, you should now see a 'Patched Successfully!' message. Congratulations, you have now patched your game!

Nick+Co's CM0102Patcher has an effective suggestion&checking process itself about which patches you can apply or can not into your exe:

Tool will uninstall unselected patch each time when you apply.
Selected patch is already installed partially or differently before, tool will not allow to uninstall it as uninstallation may break something else. Uninstalling this patch is not compatible with your exe.
Grey patch can not be installed as patch in the tool may break something else as another patch is already installed which effects this patch. Installing this patch is not compatible with your exe.

FAQs and Technical Support

Have you followed the instructions above to the letter and watched the tutorial video but have come across an issue? If so, then do not worry!

We have worked hard to put together a FAQ specifically to this type of download so all you need to do now is click on the link below and you'll be taken to our 'Technical Support' area where you will hopefully find a solution to your problem.

However, if you find that no solution has been provided, then please do use this same thread to report your issue and in order for us to help you, please be as detailed as possible. If a solution has been found, we will then update the FAQ with your own issue for others who may come across the issue in the future!
